Purchasing information
The brooch is in superb condition commensurate with age and use displaying general minor scratches and marks. The detail on the wings and serpent remain clear and crisp, however the detail carved on the beetle has become a little worn. All stones are present, the diamonds are a little dull but the rubies remain vivid. Enamel work is in very good condition. To reverse the brooch is showing some tarnishing and discolouration. Brooch fitting is tight and secure, maker's marks are clear and legible.
