Condition Report
A mid 19th century gold gem-set 'Regard' locket. Of heart-shape outline, the replacement ruby, garnet, amethyst, ruby and diamond, to the foliate and bead surmount, suspended from an associated 15ct gold seed pearl chain. Length of locket 2.5cms. Length of chain 42cms. Weight 7.5gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The gemstones are replacements. Light scratches and scuffs present. Seed pearls have grey appearance with blisters and blemishes present., untested for natural colour origin. Vacant panel to inner compartment. Clasp stamped 9ct.
