Condition Report

A late 19th century gold coral brooch. The tapered coral panel, with cannetille base and embossed flame surmount. Length 4cms. Weight 8.7gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Replacement base metal clasp. General discolouration and wear to gilt finish, to reverse. Base metal pin. Scrolling wire section deficient. Small nicks to edges of coral. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Coral untested for natural colour origin. The coral is a slightly mottled medium light orangey pink hue. Glue visible to edge.
