Condition Report

A late 19th century 15ct gold diamond and turquoise ring. The old-cut diamond, inset to the vari-shape turquoise and replacement-gem cabochon domed panel. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1883. Weight 5.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The diamond is bright and lively. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. There is a chip to the table visible under magnification. The turquoise are various shades of blue to greenish-blue, with some replacement green and blue-gems. Three cabochons deficient. Some cabochons show significant chips and cracks some only show minor abrasion. Ring size M.
