Condition Report

Two early 20th century 9ct gold gem-set bar brooches. To include an amethyst and split pearl three-leaf clover brooch suspending a cultured pearl, to the openwork sides, together with an oval opal cabochon bar brooch. Lengths 4.1 and 6.4cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Opal brooch with bent pin and later safety bar. Amethyst brooch deficient pin. Wear to gilt finish. Amethyst are well matched with medium purple hue and noticeable colour zoning. Split pearls well matched with moderate discolouration. Stamped 9ct.
