Condition Report

A late Victorian 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The oval-shape ruby, within a diamond point surround, to the circular-shape ruby scrolling shoulders. Two diamonds deficient. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1900. Weight 2.8gms.

    Overall condition fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Estimated total diamond weight 0.05ct. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Two diamonds deficient. The rubies have moderate abrasion to the surface and typical inclusions. Ring size O.
