Condition Report

A late 19th century citrine and pheasant's claw brooch, the pheasant's claw, with oval-shape citrine accent, to the foliate engraved surmount and oval-shape citrine terminal. Length 11.7cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with age. Replacement pin and brooch bar fitting, base metal. Some green staining. Citrine terminal has a foil/coloured backing, reddish-orange colour, slightly uneven due to wear to the backing. The other citrine is yellow, light colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fairly good condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Pheasant's claw in fair condition with some areas of wear.
