Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond three-stone ring. The three graduated oval opal cabochons, with old-cut diamond double spacers, to the extended claw shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1905. Weight 4gms.

    Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Opals with milky body colour and fair play-of-colour. Surface abrasions and nibbles to opal cabochons. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring size O1/2.
