Purchasing information
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Discolouration, tarnishing and evidence of repair to the clasp. Cultured pearls creamy colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Differ in shape, some are slightly unevenly shaped. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fair to fairly good lustre. Discolouration and some fraying to the string, we would recommend re-stringing of the pearl strand. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Colourless pastes with yellow hues, discolouration to the backings. Pastes in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Stamps to clasp rubbed.
