Condition Report

A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond and ruby buckle ring. The stylised belt, with circular-shape ruby and old-cut diamond accents. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1889. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with minor lines of discolouration. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a medium slightly purplish red hue. Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades within the mount. Surface reaching fissures. Ring size Q. Width of band 0.6cm.
