An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, to the rose-cut diamond scalloped surround and openwork gallery. Weight 3.4gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 18ct. Slight wear to gallery. One diamond point replacement, ill-fitting to mount. The diamonds appear mostly bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.20ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. The opal has numerous surface reaching fissures joining with cracks. Good play of colour, predominantly green and blue hues. Minor abrasion. Length of ring head 1.5cms. Ring size L 1/2.
