Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. The pear-shape amethyst and split pearl bow surmount, suspending a split pearl floral swag, to the later 9ct gold fancy-link chain. Chain with import marks for Birmingham, 1992. Length of pendant 3cms. Length of chain 46cms. Total weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Minor discolouration to one area of the pendant. Amethyst purple, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstone in good condition with minor abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Some replacement split pearls. Split pearls creamy colour, rose, greenish and bluish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. One with fine cracks to the nacre.
