ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Imperial wrist watch. Circa 1955. Reference 3116, serial 112123. Signed manual wind movement. Cream dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 28mm.

Purchasing information- The manual wind movement is currently not functioning.
- Movement appears to have heavy scratches and tarnishing with a brown substance presence on several of the wheels.
- Dial seems to be heavily discoloured with medium scratches and cracks. The Arabic numerals appear to have been drawn over with a pen and are largely disfigured. Rust is present around the edge of the dial between twelve and three.
- Hands appear to be heavily rusted and discoloured.
- Glass appears to have heavy scratches and small chips.
- Case appears to have medium scratches and tarnishing as well as small chips.
- Crown seems to display light pitting, heavy dents and scratches.
- Bezel currently has several small chips, medium scratches and tarnishing.
- Case back currently bears multiple heavy scratches and tarnishing.
- Strap appears to have general wear around the pin holes.
- Buckle appears to be in good condition. This lot does not come with a box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
