A late Victorian 9ct gold carnelian novelty compass fob. Modelled as a mantle clock, with compass 'dial' and carnelian base. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1885. Length 2.2cms. Total weight 4.2gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Registered number, worn, possibly 20100. Compass worn and discoloured. Significant surface abrasion.
