Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond, ruby and emerald brooch. Designed as a Naval Crown, the single-cut diamond ship prow and topsail motifs, to the circular-shape emerald, kite and triangular-shape ruby surmount, with single-cut diamond intervals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 2.3cms. Weight 3.2gms.

    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. Emeralds bluish-green, rubies pinkish-red, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in good condition with minor abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with some nicks.
