Condition Report

An early 20th century gold peridot and pearl pendant. The 15ct gold peridot and seed pearl pendant, to the 9ct gold trace-link chain. One seed pearl deficient. Length of pendant 4.5cms. Length of chain 44.5cms. Total weight 5.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The peridot are well matched for colour, with a light yellowish-green of fairly good saturation, with fairly good clarity showing small inclusions under magnification, one peridot has moderately heavy abrasion, with a chip to the girdle, the other has less abrasion. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. The seed pearls are well matched, with a white body colour, and fairly good lustre. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Pendant stamped 15ct. Chain stamped 9ct. Chain may be later addition.
