An open face pocket watch by James Aitchison, Edinburgh. Hallmarked London 1882. Signed keyless wind three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary sunken seconds dial to six. 18ct yellow gold case. 49mm. 99gms.

Open face pocket watch, keyless wind movement currently is functioning but will require servicing, movement in general good condition with some scratching on the 3/4 plate, blued hands in good condition, white enamel dial in good condition with no obvious signs of damage, glass in good condition with very light scratches, plating completely worn from crown, gold case and bezel in overall good condition with slight scratches from general use. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any watches or pocket watches sold.
