Condition Report

An open face pocket watch by R. Haswell & Sons. Hallmarked London 1884. Signed full plate key wind fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, partial train jewelling, split bi-metal compensation balance and blued hairspring. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, sunken subsidiary up/down power reserve indicator and seconds dial to twelve and six respectively. 18ct yellow gold case. 47mm. 100gms.

    Movement currently running - will need a service to verify condition, some superficial markings on movement/screws, hands showing slight scratches, residue on sub seconds dial, may come off with careful cleaning, dial marked with finger prints, glass marked with fine scratches - may polish out, hinges appear in good condition, bezel case and pendant marked with fine scratches consistent with general wear, bow feels secure and is showing minimal signs of wear. Please note that this lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any watches sold.
