Condition Report

CARTIER - a Must de Cartier Tank wrist watch. Numbered CC190613. Signed quartz movement. Cream dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Gold plated case fitted to a signed brown caiman strap with gold plated pin buckle. 24mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • The quartz movement is currently not functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or may indicate a serious problem with the movement is unknown.
  • Movement appears to have light scratches and tarnishing, consistent with general usage.
  • Dial seems to be in good condition apart from rubbing to the 10 hour marker.
  • Hands appear to be in good condition.
  • Glass appears to be in good condition.
  • Case appears to be heavily discoloured with light scratches.
  • Crown seems to be in good condition.
  • Case back currently bears light scratches and tarnishing, the majority of which should polish out, alongside large areas of discolouration.
  • Strap appears to have light rubbing and cracks around the pin holes, consistent with general wear.
  • Buckle appears to lightly tarnished and scratched. This lot comes with a box but no papers. Box appears to heave several scratches to the exterior and light pitting to the interior but otherwise is in good condition. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
