Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the garnet drop, suspended from a marquise-shape garnet within a scrolling foliate split pearl and bow accent panel. Surmount and one split pearl deficient. Length 5.4cms. Weight 5.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear age. Wear to the gilt surface. Surmount/suspension loop and one split pearl deficient. Some replacement split pearls, glue visible. Garnets fairly well matched, red to pinkish-red, moderate to dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Fair skins with some surface blemishes. Fair to slightly dull lustre. Stamp indistinct.
