Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and split pearl necklace. The purple garnet quatrefoil, within a split pearl openwork panel, suspending a garnet and split pearl foliate drop, to the similarly-designed split pearl floral panels, garnet foliate intervals and trace-link back-chain. Length 42cms. Weight 9.1gms.

    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Small panel, stamped 9ct, near the clasp. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Garnets are a deep, vibrant, slightly reddish purple hue. Minimal abrasion. The split pearls are well matched. Minor discolouration.
