A late 19th century Russian gold turquoise and garnet ring.

Condition Report

A late 19th century Russian gold turquoise and garnet ring. The oval turquoise cabochon and circular garnet cabochon sides, within a rope-twist and partial collet surround, to the engraved shoulders. Imperial double-headed eagle stamp and 56 zolotnik mark. Weight 2.3gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with slight discolouration and pitting, partially obscuring the marks. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Chip to the side of the turquoise. The turquoise is a mottled slightly brownish bluish green hue. The garnets are a well matched medium deep red hue. Width of ring head 0.7cm. Ring size Q.
