A late 19th century Russian gold turquoise and garnet ring. The oval turquoise cabochon and circular garnet cabochon sides, within a rope-twist and partial collet surround, to the engraved shoulders. Imperial double-headed eagle stamp and 56 zolotnik mark. Weight 2.3gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with slight discolouration and pitting, partially obscuring the marks. The turquoise is a mottled slightly brownish bluish green hue. The garnets are a well matched medium deep red hue. Width of ring head 0.7cm. Ring size Q.
