A pair of late 19th century split pearl and enamel ear studs. Each designed as a blue enamel weave pattern dome, inset with split pearls, to the later added posts. Diameter 1.1cms. Weight 3.9gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Dome panels date from the late 19th century, with later added ear posts. Butterfly backs with wear to the yellow metal surface and green staining. Some possible replacement split pearls. Split pearls creamy colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly well matched, differ slightly in hue. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. One area of repair to the enamel. Enamel in fair condition with some large nicks and nibbles. With fixed posts for pierced ears.
