A pair of William IV silver candlesticks.

Condition Report

A pair of William IV silver mounted candlesticks, each raised on a circular base with engraved crest, gadrooned border interspersed with scrolling acanthus leaf and shell details, rising to the tapering knopped stem and urn shaped sockets conforming in decoration, loaded. Hallmarked Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1835. Height measuring 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little rubbing with slight loss of definition. Conforming crest also engraved to the detachable nozzles. The hallmarks are clear and legible, nozzles also fully marked.
