Condition Report

A set of four late Victorian open salts with crest engraved cartouche and floral design, raised on three pad feet, Robert Harper, London 1862. Together with a modern silver salt and pepper and a modern christening mug. Salts hallmarked. Gross weight 9.44 ozt (293.6 grams). (3).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Significant wear to gilt finish of salts, with noticeable black spotting to insides. Moderate wear to salt hallmarks. Engraved crest of a sitting stag. Salt and pepper with discolouration and small dents, hallmarked WI Broadway & Co, Birmingham 1979. Mug hallmarked Carr's of Sheffield, Sheffield. Height of mug 7.7cm.
