Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner bracelet watch. Circa 1991. Reference 16618, serial N224563. Signed automatic calibre 3135. Black dial with luminous hour markers, date aperture to three. Calibrated bezel, 18ct gold case fitted to an 18ct gold Oyster bracelet with Fliplock clasp. 40mm.

Purchasing information
  • Automatic movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to be in good condition with minor marks.
  • Black rubber seal inside the rear of the case is stretched and would require replacing.
  • Dial appears to be in good condition but shows tarnishing to the surrounds of the hour markers.
  • Hands have marks and scratches when viewed under an eye glass. Luminous inserts show slight discolouration when viewed under an eye glass.
  • Glass has some small chips and scratches when viewed under an eye glass.
  • Unidirectional bezel is working correctly.
  • Bezel has light marks and scratches.
  • Numbers between the lugs appear to have been redefined.
  • Case has light scratches, marks and small dints.
  • Case appears to have been repolished in the past.
  • Crown is screwing down correctly.
  • Case back has light scratches and marks.
  • Case back appears to have been repolished in the past.
  • String bars appear to be stainless steel replacements.
  • Bracelet has light scratches, marks and small dints.
  • Link to the bottom segment of the bracelet has a shallow dent.
  • Bracelet appears to have been repolished in the past.
  • Clasp has scratches, marks and small scuffs.
