Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's De Ville wrist watch. Reference 1910224, serial 47955752. Signed quartz calibre 1378. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back, fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 27mm.

Purchasing information
  • The quartz movement is currently not functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or may indicate a serious problem with the movement is unknown.
  • Movement appears to show small light scratches and dark marks.
  • Dial appears to show several light scratches and small dark marks, a circle of slight discolouration is present beside the eight and areas of tarnishing are present around the dial centre and edge.
  • Hands seem to be heavily discoloured with signs of rusting.
  • Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which is lightly scratched.
  • Case appears to show multiple medium scuffs and scratches with several small chips and dents.
  • Crown currently shows heavy tarnishing, resulting in the Omega logo becoming less distinct, with slight scuffs and pitting.
  • Case back seems to show several long, light scratches, which should polish out.
  • Strap appears to have tarnishing and cracks to the leather, particularly around the pin holes, consistent with the strap being fastened.
  • Buckle seems to show light tarnishing and pitting. This lot does not come with a box or papers.
