Condition Report

A late 19th century 9ct gold hessonite garnet and diamond cluster ring. The replacement oval-shape hessonite garnet, within a rose-cut diamond surround, to the trifurcated shoulders and grooved band. Approximate hessonite garnet dimensions 7.5 by 6.4 by 4.2mms. Weight 2.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The replacement hessonite garnet is a bright slightly reddish-orange, showing fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight is no indication of the total diamond weight. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Approximate ring size L.
