Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. Designed as a circular-shape ruby line, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Hallmarks rubbed. Weight 2.9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The rubies are well matched with a dark pinkish-red and fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions. The condition of the rubies is fair with abrasion to the facet edges. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
