Condition Report

CARTIER - a Santos bracelet watch. Reference 1564, serial 939528CD. Signed quartz calibre 687. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Stainless steel case fitted to a stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp. 29mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • The quartz movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to display light scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear.
  • Date aperture is currently functioning.
  • Dial seems to be in good condition.
  • Hands appear to be in good condition.
  • Glass appears to be in good condition.
  • Bezel currently shows medium scuffs and scratches with areas of tarnishing.
  • Crown seems to be lightly tarnished and scratched.
  • Case back seems to display a medium scratch in the top right corner and several very light scratches.
  • Bracelet appears to show multiple medium scuffs and scratches with areas of tarnishing on and between several of the links.
  • Bracelet is not stretched.
  • Clasp currently displays light scuffs and scratches. Scratches, pitting and areas of tarnishing are present on the interior of the clasp, consistent with the clasp being closed.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including the case.

    This lot does comes with box and papers.

  • Outer case appears to be creased with dents and dark marks. Main case and interior seem to be in good condition with creases on the cushion.
  • Certificate dated 8/23/04 (watch bought in the US). Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
