Condition Report

CARTIER - a Pasha de Cartier GMT wrist watch. Reference 2388, serial CC575918. Signed automatic calibre 480. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral three and nine, quarterly luminous dot markers, GMT dial to twelve, power reserve indicator between four and eight, date aperture between four and five. Calibrated bezel, stainless steel case with exhibition case back, fitted to a signed stone caiman strap with a stainless steel deployant clasp. 38mm.

  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with no signs of previous intervention.
  • Date and secondary time zone indicator work as expected.
  • Dial looks to be in a generally good condition.
  • Hands look to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass looks to be in a generally good condition.
  • Bezel has light scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear. It rotates anti-clockwise, but the action is hesitant and stiff.
  • Case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear. There are some more noticeable nicks to the edges.
  • Crown is light worn, the screw down cap is secure.
  • Case back has light scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear. Exhibition plate appears free from noticeable marks.
  • Strap is worn with some discolouration and setting.
  • Clasp has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear but closes securely.
