Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Navitimer chronograph wrist watch. Reference D31022, serial 9267. Signed automatic calibre 7750. Black dial with luminous Arabic numerals, subsidiary silvered recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Yellow metal slide rule bezel, stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned black alligator strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 40mm. Papers.

Purchasing information
  • Automatic movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to show slight pitting and scratches, commensurate with general wear.
  • Chronograph is currently functioning.
  • Date aperture is currently functioning.
  • Dial appears to show several scratches, including one through the recorder dial to six. Luminous paint shows slight discolouration.
  • Main hands seem to be in good condition. Hands of the recorder dials currently show medium tarnishing, chips and scratches.
  • Glass appears to display multiple light scuffs and scratches.
  • Case appears to show a small number of light scratches.
  • Crown displays a medium scratch with tarnishing to the edges whilst the pushers seem to be in good condition.
  • Case back seems to show a small number of light scratches.
  • Strap appears to show areas of slight rubbing to the leather, consistent with the strap being fastened.
  • Buckle seems to have medium scuffs and scratches. This lot does not come with a box but includes a guarantee booklet dated 18/3/1999. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
