Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Aeromarine Colt Chrono Transocean chronograph bracelet watch. Reference A53040.1, serial 7774. Signed quartz calibre 53. Black dial with luminous Arabic numerals, bordered by compass divisions, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture set between four and five. Calibrated bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a stainless steel Fighter bracelet with folding clasp. 41mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to be in good condition with minor marking commensurate with general wear.
  • Chronograph is currently functioning correctly.
  • Dial appears to be in good condition.
  • Hands appear to be in good condition with light tarnishing present to the luminous inserts.
  • Glass has light and medium scratches with occasional heavy scratches especially to the centre of the glass. Whilst some of these scratches are visible with the naked eye they do not inhibit the legibility of the dial and do not significantly impact the aesthetic quality of the item.
  • Bezel has light and medium scratches with dinting and light denting.
  • Case has light scratches and dinting, the case appears to have been re-polished at some point previously.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly, crown has some light dinting.
  • Case back has light and medium scratches and dinting.
  • Bracelet has light scratching with evidence of previous re-polishing present.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and feels secure with the lock engaged.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 19cm including the case.
