A 1960s 9ct gold ruby abstract brooch. Designed as a stylised sun, the bombe bead centre, surrounded by a circular-shape ruby wreath, to the radial tapered bars. Hallmarks for London, partially indistinct. Length 3.8cms. Weight

    Overall condition good. Surface scratches and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. The rubies are a bright pinkish red, with light abrasion and typical inclusions seen with magnification.
