Condition Report

An early 20th century emerald, diamond and ruby five-stone ring. The graduated line composed of a rectangular-shape emerald, old-cut diamonds and oval-shape rubies, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Weight 3.3gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The gemstones are chipped and nibbled. The emerald is abraded and has typical inclusions visible. The rubies are well matched. The diamonds are quite bright and lively. Scratches to inner band. Claw settings have worn thin. Ring size Q. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
