A stylised foliate gem-set brooch. The circular-shape sapphire and cultured pearl openwork spray, with rose-cut diamond detail. Length 4.2gms. Weight 6gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The sapphires are a fairly well matched dark to mid blue with straight colour zoning visible to some with the unaided eye. The largest one has a slight chip and moderate abrasion to the facet edges. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.10ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The cultured pearls are well matched for colour with a white body colour and pink overtones, showing fair lustre. There are typical blisters and blemishes to the surface of each cultured pearl. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
