Condition Report

A selection of garnet jewellery, to include a late 19th century faceted, graduated bead necklace with 9ct gold spring-ring clasp, an early 20th century 15ct gold heart-shape pendant with central garnet and a mid 19th century garnet memorial brooch. (7) Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901. Lengths 2.2 to 40cms. Weight of second 2.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall fair to good condition, all with moderate surface scratches and varying degrees of tarnishing. The necklace shows abrasion to most of the bead facet edges, the plain ring part of the clasp is missing. The garnet memorial brooch has one stone missing and is heavily tarnished. The elongated garnet brooch has three stones missing and has no pin or hinge.
