Condition Report

Two mid 20th century Satsuma brooches, each designed as a circular-shape ceramic panel, the first hand painted to depict two cranes among chrysanthemums and bamboo, the second depicting a bird and flowers. Diameters 4.2 and 3.9cms.

    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Nicks, scratches and file marks to the mounts. One with replacement pin. Some wear to the painted detail. First stamped 9ct. Second with foreign stamp. Weight of first 20.1gms.
