OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch.

Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch. Numbered 13322, 8128. Signed manual wind calibre 265. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 33mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning intermittently. However balance action is poor.
  • Movement shows signs of previous intervention to the screw heads. Some scratches to the plates, there are signs of dried oil to the jewels. The hairspring shows a tendency to bunch up at certain points.
  • Dial is discoloured, it was once silvered but has yellowed. There is evidence of pitting. The seconds hand has scratched the the subsidiary seconds dial.
  • Hands have scratches and marks and evidence of grease.
  • Glass is covered with a multitude of scratches and there is some crazing.
  • Bezel has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear.
  • Case has medium scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear. Some nicks to the edges. Some more noticeable wear to the rear three quarters of the two of the lugs, leaving them asymmetric.
  • Crown is a replacement item and is lightly worn.
  • Case back is covered with a multitude of scratches and marks, some more noticeable marks to near the case opening aperture.
  • Strap is a modern replacement, almost "as new" with some setting.
  • Buckle is also "as new".
