Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch. Hallmarked Birmingham 1959. Number 964431. Signed manual wind calibre 267. Silvered dial with gilt baton hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 9ct yellow gold case with a personal inscription to rear, fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with a signed 9ct yellow gold pin buckle. 34mm. Papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have small marks.
  • Hands show scratches. Hands also shows marks and tarnishing when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Glass has a crack between the seven and eight o'clock batons.
  • Case shows light scratches, marks and small dints. Case back has a personal engraving.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly. Crown shows noticeable wear to the gold plating as well as light marks and scratches.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows tarnishing as well as marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    Lot to include inner box and guarantee booklet dated 1961. Booklet is ripped, inner box shows extensive damage by the hinge.
