Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1968. Reference 1603, serial 2148980. Signed automatic calibre 1570. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Engine turned bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with Oysterclasp. 36mm.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.Gasket has split and will require replacement.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches, some lifting of the laminate visible to the naked eye.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 20cm including case.
