Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold jade necklace. Designed as a fringe of seven oval and kite-shape nephrite jade cabochon collets, with scrolling detail, suspended from a trace-link chain. Length 41cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The clasp is broken, does not currently open. Clasp stamped 9ct. Chain is different colour to the mounts. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The nephrite jade is a well matched medium deep olive green hue. Length of drops 1.5cms. Some of the knife-edge posts supporting the oval cabochons are slightly bent to one side.
