Condition Report

Two early 20th century 18ct gold gem-set rings. To include an old and single-cut diamond five-stone scrolling ring, together with an oval opal cabochon and old-cut diamond collet three-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. First with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1916. Total weight 4.7gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing. Opal in fair condition with a matt surface due to surface abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Clarity in the first varies from minor inclusions visible under magnification, to large inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in the second with minor to scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size L1/2 and K. Second stamped 18ct.
