Condition Report

A set of 18ct gold late Victorian coral jewelle, circa 1880. The pendant set with a coral cabochon measuring 1.5cms within a spherical geometric and bead surround, to the gold plated trace-link chain, together with a matching pair of ear pendants. Pendant may be worn as a brooch. Diameter of pendant 3.8cms. Length of chain 41cms. Diameter of earrings 2.2cms. Total weight 25.5gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Principal coral cabochon has slight uneven colour distribution. Some possible replacement coral. Due to age, all settings will need attention. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
