A George IV silver dish.

Condition Report

A George IV silver dish, the circular body pierced and embossed and florally embossed in high relief to the scroll rim. Hallmarked Sheffield 1825, with the maker's mark RG, probably for Robert Gainsford. Diameter measuring 10 1/2 inches (27 cm), weight 16.8 ozt (523 grams).

Purchasing information
    In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks a little rubbed but easily legible. Also marked 'H' to the underside.
