Condition Report

A pair of late Victorian filled silver candlesticks, each designed as a stepped square shaped base, supporting a Corinthian column and acanthus leaf surmount and detachable sconce, with bead detail. Hallmarked Walter Latham & Son, Sheffield 1900. Height 9 1/2 inches (24.1 cm).

Purchasing information
    In fair to good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks are rubbed, legible. Sconces are slightly loose, partial hallmarks suggest original to the piece. One candlestick is significantly heavier than the other, appears re-filled/felted to base. Small scratches and dents.
