Condition Report
A George II silver mug of slightly tapering form above a footed base, and with simple scroll handle, hallmarked London 1735, maker's mark partly distorted but possibly reads 'BC', height measuring 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm). Together with a George III baluster form mug with a foliate capped double scroll handle, hallmarked London 1771, with maker's mark W.T, probably William Turton, height measuring 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm). Combined weight 18.7 ozt (581.7 grams). (2).

Purchasing information-
Both mugs display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some dints and bumps to both. Slight impressions from the handle visible to the interior of the 1735 mug. No personal engravings on this mug. The hallmarks on this mug are rubbed but still legible, the maker's mark is partly distorted. The 1771 mug displays some heavier tarnishing and marks. Removal of an engraving or monogram as the metal is very thin and there are several creases and nicks visible. The hallmarks on this mug are located to the underside and are clear and legible.
