Condition Report

A George III silver sugar basket, of elliptical outline having stylized swag engraved border above vacant shaped cartouche to each side, with reeded rim and swing handle, and raised upon stepped oval foot. Hallmarked Pater & Ann Bateman, London 1797. Maximum width 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), 7.15 ozt (222.5 grams).

Purchasing information
    Overall good condition. Hallmarks with light rubbing but still clear and legible with part hallmark to handle. Apex of handle with small dints. Few minor marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
