Condition Report

A cased pair of late Victorian silver bonbon dishes, each of lobed octagonal outline having alternate foliate embossed and pierced panels within shell moulded edge, in fitted, velvet lined presentation box. Hallmarked Birmingham 1897, probably William Davenport. Diameter of each 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), gross silver weight 7.25 ozt (225.6 grams).

Purchasing information
    Each in fair condition. Hallmarks clear and legible. Some remnants of polish, each displaying light surface marks and rubbing commensurate with age. Box with few losses and scuffs to exterior, lining detached in places.
