Condition Report

A George IV Irish silver twin handled sugar bowl, the circular squat and lobed form, crested and embossed with fruiting and floral motifs, scalloped rim and standing on a similarly decorated foot. Hallmarked Smith & Gamble, Dublin 1827. Maximum height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 13.3 ozt (415 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A number of dents. Solder repairs in and around both handles. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly distorted.
